I am always torn between coloring images ahead of time and having them ready to add to a card, or waiting to choose a color scheme to match a card base or background paper. What do you do? Thoughts?

Stampin' Up! Tea Stain
This teapot and cup are found on a 12 x 12 sheet of Stampin' Up! black and white DSP. There is a row of them. I cut out a set and colored the images using various markers.
Next, I distressed the edges and splattered a tea stain to age the paper a bit.
I then matted it with a panel of DSP and adhered it to my card base.
Lastly, I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

Wonderful tea pot and I love the splatters on the base of the image too. It adds interest and is easily done but really works so well.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Lisa. I needed that pat on the back. Sometimes, I think I am the only one who likes my cards. Your comments not only assure me of continuing to share, but lift me up tremendously. Thank you so much for your kindness.Delete
