Space

I like this starry bokeh background stamp. I only wish Stampin' Up! had made it larger. There is a technique so that you can create your own bokeh background, but I wanted the stars for a more galaxy effect.

Stamps:
   Lovely You
   Bokeh Dots

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2
   Going Places DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Whisper White 3-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Delightful Dijon

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive

I stamped the starry bokeh background on a 3-1/4 x 4 inch Whisper White panel, using Delightful Dijon. I then trimmed the piece down to 2-3/8 x 3-1/2.

I like the color variation between the Whisper White panel and the Very Vanilla card base.

I stamped the sentiment using Archival Basic Black.

I then adhered the Just Because panel onto the center of the card base with the Going Places DSP on it.

  1. That is a great starry BG stamp. It works so well on a dark card stock too.

  2. Two things I wish: that the bokeh effect stamp was made as a background stamp and that it was sold separately from the star bokeh stamp. I like how you used the star stamp.
