Birthday Flowers OSW#7

Vellum adds a bit of mystery to your card front. It creates this mystic, hazy film over your image. Take a look at this one.

   Basic Black A-2, 3-1/2 x 4-1/4
Share What You Love DSP 5-1/2 x 4
   Vellum 5-1/2 x 4
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

   One Sheet Wonder
   Die Cutting

   Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies
   Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet
   Vellum Tape
   Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack

I glued the sentiment on the inside of the vellum and then adhered the vellum onto the DSP.

Using the multipurpose adhesive sheet for the Happy Birthday die cut really made the process of adhering the sentiment easy. The trick is always make sure you are die cutting on the correct side.

I punched and die cut small images on all of the extra spaces around my Happy Birthday die cut for use on future projects. Never throw away useable paper, especially when it has adhesive on it.

I used this template to cut my 12 x 12 DSP:

I used the middle panel #7 for this card.

  1. Sally, your card is a beauty. It sure makes a difference when you add vellum... such a soft subtle look!

  2. Another wonderful card layout with the one sheet wonder. Super birthday card too with that paper.

  3. I love the mistiness of vellum. It's hazy enough to soften the background and allow for another layer of goodness.
