Welcoming Woods

This is a great image to use when you need a masculine card. You can change the sentiment to meet your needs. Obviously, it can also be used for anyone at any age to celebrate any occasion. Okay, it is a wonderful outdoor image. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Welcoming Woods

Paper:
   Soft Suede A-2
   Whisper White 3-3/8 x 4, 3-1/4 x 3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Cajun Craze
   Cinnamon Cider
   Smoky Slate
   Soft Suede

Technique:
   Sponging
   Punching

Accessories:
   Banners Pick a Punch
   Sponge
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my trees using Cinnamon Cider on a left-over piece of Whisper White. It measured 3-3/8 x 4.

I then took the image that fits between the trees and stamped it using Soft Suede.

Next, I randomly stamped leaves on the trees, falling from the trees, and on the ground. I used Cajun Craze.

I then sponged and dabbed some Smoky Slate between the trees.

I stamped my sentiment on a strip of Whisper White and punched the ends using the Banners Pick a Punch. I used Soft Suede for the sentiment.

Lastly, I adhered the Whisper White panels to the Soft Suede card base. The 5-1/4 x 4 panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

  3. Love your card! The colors are so Fall! (for which I'd rather wait a little longer even though it's boiling outside!)

    1. I know exactly what you mean. I just had to play and make sure my new stamp set was free from any flaws. Always check your stamps. Sometimes there is a tiny tear in the rubber, or a part that does not stamp correctly. Returns must be done within 90 days, but the sooner the better. Thank you Fonda for dropping by here and commenting. Have a wonderful "cool" day and stay healthy!
