Polar Bear

A classic thank-you on a classic black and white card. This is a new stamp set found in our August through December Mini Catalog. I used the bundle (Stamp & Dies) on this card and added a few sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack. Make sure you get your bundle before the year is over. What do you think? Ink:

First, I brushed my Basic Black panel with my embossing buddy. This buddy helps to keep the embossing powder from sticking where it should not stick.

I then stamped my images and sentiment using the Whisper White Craft ink. I did work quickly to keep the ink from drying out too quickly. 

I sprinkled the White embossing powder over the panel. Turned it over and let the extra powder fall onto my scrap paper. I added the extra powder back into my container.

Next, I heat embossed the panel and set it aside to let it cool.

Meanwhile, I die cut my icicles and set them aside. You can easily die cut two icicles from the 2 x 3 piece. You can also punch small circles (snowballs), stars, etc. to be used on another project. I keep these extras in the stamp case with the stamps.

My next step was to put my card together. Using my Fine Tip Glue Pen, I adhered the gold frame around the sentiment and added the icicles to the top-left corner of the panel.

I then adhered the Basic Black panel to the Soft Sky card base. You can use any color or card base that you have on hand. Black and white blends with any color.

Lastly, I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card, and added a few sequins to the card front.
