Scary & Sweet

Who doesn't like candy corn? I had a few strips left in my stash with this candy corn on them, so I added them to a card base, added a sentiment and a couple of ghosts. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Grateful Greetings

Paper:
   Tangerine Tango A-2
   Motley Monsters DSP 1/2 x 4-1/4 (4)
   Whisper White Scraps, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Tangerine Tango

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Punching
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies
   Curly Label Punch
   Sponge
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, punched, and sponged my Halloween tag.

I then stamped and die cut my two ghosts.

Next, I cut the Motley Monsters DSP into strips. I adhered two strips to the top and two strips to the bottom of the Tangerine Tango card base.

I attached the tag and ghost using dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

  1. I like your candy corn paper, but candy corn only about once a year and the time is ripe for it! I don't get a whole bag, but I pilfer some from someone else's bag! Kinda like circus peanuts, but I digress... Your card is cute!

    1. Thank, Fonda. I like candy corn, but I have been trying to lose weight. So as Halloween nears, I am doing my best to stay away from those candy aisles. It is not easy. I will have to tackle them soon. I always get a little goody box done for each of my 3 grandchildren. Time is running out! Thanks for stopping by here.
