Dashing Deer

You can never have too many Christmas cards. I like to make them throughout the year. This way, I am able to send a unique card to each one on my list. This one takes less than 10 minutes to make. I hope you like it.

Stamps:
   Dashing Deer

Paper:
   Soft Sky A-2
   All Is Calm DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Tip Top Taupe Scraps
   Whisper White Scrap

Ink:
   Lost Lagoon
   Soft Sky
   Tip Top Taupe

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Sponging
   Punching

Accessories:
   Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies
   Washi Label Punch
   Sponge
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the deer using Tip Top Taupe ink and cardstock.

I then die cut these two using the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies.

Then I stamped the small deer using Lost Lagoon on the designer series paper.

I stamped the sentiment using Lost Lagoon onto a scrap of Whisper White. I punched it out with the Washi Label punch, and sponged it with Soft Sky.

Now, that I have all the pieces, I glued the designer series panel onto the Soft Sky card base.

Then I added the deer and the sentiment using dimensionals.

  1. I love making Christmas cards throughout the year. It makes it so that I don't have to rush in November so I can get them out by December 1st and not have to worry about them not having enough time to arrive.

Terrific stamps and great paper for the base you used on this one. I look forward to more Christmas inspiration. :)
