Make a Bokeh Wish

Applying a watercolor wash to a background will always yield a unique and creative card. Here I combined it with a bokeh technique. You can find a bokeh technique at SCS: Bokeh Technique

   Life Is Grand

   Whisper White A-2

   Balmy Blue
   Blueberry Bushel
   Smoky Slate

   Sponge Dauber
   Aqua Painters/Water Painters

First, I applied Balmy Blue as my watercolor wash background. I let it dry.

Next, I added the Bokeh dots using Smoky Slate and various circle sizes.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment using Blueberry Bushel.

  1. Very creative and eye catching! This gives your card a lot of depth by the shapes and colors! Gorgeous!

  2. Wonderful water color wash and terrific use of the Bokeh technique.

  3. Thank you ladies for your kind words and for taking the time to visit. I like the hazy effect of the watercolor wash and then with the smoky circles, it made me think of space and the universe.
