Sunrise

I dusted off an older stamp set that includes a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Although it has been retired, it remains as one of my favorites. I am a big fan of the natural world around us. I also decided to revisit a couple of forgotten colors. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Kinda Eclectic

Paper:
   Perfect Plum A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 1-1/2 x 4
   Strawberry Slush 1-3/4 x 4

Ink:
   Elegant Eggplant
   Strawberry Slush
   Mossy Meadow

Technique:
   None

Accessories:
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the leaves along the bottom and the top right corner of the Whisper White panel. I used Mossy Meadow. I really like how the leaves do not leave a complete impression. This way, when I make a mistake, you really can't tell.

I then used my Strawberry Slush to stamp the sun and the small butterfly on the left side of the Whisper White strip. I inked up only half of the sun's rays. I did make sure the complete circle of the sun was inked.

I then used the Elegant Eggplant to stamp the sentiment and the two large butterflies.

I adhered the Whisper White strip onto the Strawberry Slush strip. This was then glued onto the Whisper White panel, making sure half of the sun was peeking over it.

This panel was then adhered to the Perfect Plum card base.

Lastly, I added pearls to the butterflies, and the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
