Bursting With Charm

Here is a cute layout to try when you have a busy background. I used the Petal Pink Braided Trim and the Pecan Pie strip to somewhat frame the three flowers in the center. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Charming Day

Paper:
   Berry Burst A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Floral Charm DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Petal Pink 1-1/2" Sq. (3)
   Pecan Pie 5-1/4 x 1/4
   Basic White 1-3/8" Sq. (3), 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Blackberry Bliss

Markers/Blends:
   Berry Burst
   Mossy Meadow

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Petal Pink Braided Trim
   Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the three Basic White squares with a flower from the Charming Day stamp set, using Blackberry Bliss.

I then colored the images with markers: Berry Burst and Mossy Meadow.

Next, I adhered them onto a Petal Pink matte and arranged them on the Floral Charm DSP panel. I turned the squares so the leaves would be oriented differently, giving each flower a unique feel. Once, I was happy with the placement, I adhered them.

I then added the Petal Pink Braided Trim across the top of the panel and the Pecan Pie strip to the bottom of the panel. I used glue dots for the trim and liquid adhesive for the Pecan Pie strip.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Berry Burst card front.

Lastly, I added a Charming Shimmer Faceted Dot to the center of each of the flowers and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
