Sparkly Thanks

I really like how this specialty paper shines as you move it around. I also decided to add a splash of purple to the mix. Thoughts?

Sparkly Thanks

Stamps:
   Artistically Inked

Paper:
   Highland Heather A-2
   Basic Black 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
   Splash of Sparkles DSP 4 x 5-1/4
Watercolor Paper 4" Sq. (Tear after coloring)
   Basic White 4 x 5-1/4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Re-Inker:
   Highland Heather

Technique:
   Watercolor
   Tearing
   CAS

Accessories:
   Aqua Painter
   Pastel Pearls
   Adhesive

First, I watercolored a 4" square of watercolor paper, using Highland Heather ink.

I then stamped a sentiment in the center, using Tuxedo Black Memento.

Next, I tore the watercolor paper around the sentiment, leaving a purple border around it. I tore the paper towards me, exposing the white edge on the border of it. I wanted a rough jagged edge, so I made sure I tore it in different directions without any precision.

I then adhered the Splash of Sparkles DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Highland Heather card front.

Next, I attached the sentiment to the center of the card front, using adhesive. You can easily use dimensionals as well.

Lastly, I added a few Pastel Pearls to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card I made, using the same supplies:
