Butterfly in Bermuda

These Paper Butterfly Accents are fun to color. You can choose to add color with a blending brush, markers, colored pencils, crayons, chalks, etc. I chose blending brushes for my card today. Thought?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Bermuda Bay A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Butterfly Bijou 6x6 DSP 2-1/2 x 2-3/4 (2)
   Myths & Magic 6x6 Glimmer Paper 5-1/4 x 1
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Bermuda Bay
   Calypso Coral
   Pecan Pie

Technique:
   CAS
   Blending Brushes

Accessories:
   Paper Butterfly Accents
   Brushed Brass Butterflies
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the two Butterfly Bijou DSP panels, side by side, on the lower part of the Basic Black matte, as shown above. 

I then adhered the strip of glimmer paper above them. I made sure the Basic Black matte showed around each of the papers.

Next, I adhered the panel onto the Bermuda Bay Card Front.

I then colored the paper butterflies, using my blending brushes and the inks listed above. Choose your favorite colors and medium for this step.

Next, I attached the butterfly to the solid panel of DSP, using a couple of glue dots.

I then added a few rhinestones to the butterfly.

Lastly, I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
