Blue Petals

An embossed-resist technique makes a very interesting background. Thoughts?

   Basic Black 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
   Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP 4 x 5-1/4
   Basic White 2-1/2 x 2-3/4, 4 x 5-1/4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Ballet Blue
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Brayer
   Sponging
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Scalloped Blooms Dies
   Iridescent Washi Tape
   Rhinestone Basic Jewels
   Sponge
   Brayer
   Adhesive

First, I added Ballet Blue ink to the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP, using my brayer.

I then added a strip of Iridescent Washi Tape across the center of the panel.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then adhered it to the Ballet Blue card front.

I then stamped, die cut, and sponged the sentiment. I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment and Ballet Blue for the sponging. I die cut  it, using the Scalloped Blooms Dies.

Next, I adhered the sentiment in the center of the card front.

Lastly, I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is a birthday card I made, using the same supplies:
