Five Note Cards

My pile of left-over tidbits has grown into a massive heap. So, I have decided to use left-overs as quickly as possible. I made these five note cards, using left-over tags from the January, 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. I added designer series paper (DSP), and other embellishments from my stash. What do you think?

It's Your Birthday Note Card

Welcome Note Card

Yay for Love Note Card

Being Awesome Note Card

Love Your Heart Note Card

Stamps:
Brew Some Fun (It's Your Birthday Card)
   Let's Create Together (Welcome Card)
Happy & Heartfelt (Yay for Love & Being Awesome Cards)
One Happy Family (Love Your Heart Card)

Paper:
   Whisper White Note Cards
   Love Blossoms DSP 3 x 5
Left-Over Tag (Paper Pumpkin, January, 2022)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   2016-18 In-Color Enamel Shapes
   Party Animal Embellishments (Balloon)
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I chose some designer series paper that would coordinate with a heart-shaped tag. So, I used some Love Blossoms DSP and cut 3 x 5 inch panels to go in the center of each note card.

I then stamped each of the heart tags with what I needed, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I adhered the DSP to the center of each note card.

I then added the heart tag to each card using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added embellishments from my stash to complete each one.

Sandy Shells

Dress up your card with die cuts. They can create dimension, interest, and texture to your creation. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Friends are like Seashells

Paper:
   Seaside Spray A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Sand & Sea DSP 5-1/4 x 4 , 3/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), Scraps

Ink:
   Mossy Meadow
   Sahara Sand
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Seaside Seashells Dies
   Opal Rounds
   Glittered Sand Dollars & Starfish
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the grasses using Mossy Meadow, and a sand dollar using Sahara Sand.

I then used the Seaside Seashells Dies to cut them.

Next, I cut my DSP panel and strip. I stamped my sentiment on the 3/4 x 4" strip using Tuxedo Black Memento. I adhered it to the bottom of the DSP panel.

I then adhered this panel onto the Basic Black panel and then onto the Seaside Spray card base.

I attached the sand dollar with dimensionals and added the grasses with adhesive.

I found a left-over glittered sand dollar and starfish from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit and decided to attach them to the card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of opal rounds and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Plants

Plants are great for every occasion. Can you believe they even look great on a card? What do you think?

Plants

Stamps:
   Plentiful Plants
   Hey Birthday Chick (Birthday Card)

Paper:
   Mint Macaron A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Barely Banana 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), Scraps

Ink:
   Evening Evergreen
   Garden Green
   Just Jade
   Merry Merlot
   Orchid Oasis
   Shaded Spruce
   Terracotta Tile
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Perfect Plants Dies
   Paper Lattice
   Regals Candy Dots
   So Saffron Brad
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

All of the plants, vases, and hanging basket were stamped and die cut. I randomly chose colors, vases, and plants.

I then adhered the paper lattice onto the Barely Banana panel.

I played with the arrangement of the various plants, vases, and tag. Once I was happy, I adhered them in place with glue dots, adhesive, or a brad. The hanging basket was added using a brad. The tag is left-over from a Paper Pumpkin kit.

Next, I adhered the Barely Banana panel onto the Basic Black panel, and then onto the Mint Macaron card base.

Lastly, I added a few candy dots to the tag and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card with a Birthday sentiment.

I used a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers to create the background. You can see it HERE. You will find written instructions as well as a short video for this Wrinkle Free Distress Tutorial.

Once the background was dry, I colored my stamp with markers.

Beachy Birthday

I guess some ink pads do not last forever. I decided to use a discontinued ink color, Dusty Durango, on my card. I thought I would be safe, since I was just blending the ink onto the card. Nope, a smudge was added anyway, even with the blending brush. I tried to cover it up with a bird, but he just looked wounded. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Sunkissed
   Waves of Inspiration

Paper:
   Cajun Craze A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Crumb Cake
   Daffodil Delight
   Dusty Durango
   Pacific Point
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Markers:
   Crushed Curry
   Early Espresso
   Garden Green
   Pacific Point
   Soft Suede

Technique:
   Blending Brush/Sponging

Accessories:
   Blending Brush/Sponge
   Pebbles Enamel Shapes
   Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots
   Adhesive

First, I used my blending brush to create the background on my Basic White panel.
    Daffodil Delight - Top
    Dusty Durango - Middle
    Crumb Cake - Bottom

I then used markers to color on my stamps. I moistened the stamps with my breath before stamping the image onto my panel.

I first colored the sand dune with Crushed Curry and Soft Suede.

Next, I applied the Early Espresso on the tree trunks and Garden Green on the palms.

I added the ocean using Pacific Point.

The sentiment was also added using Pacific Point.

I then added birds with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I adhered the stamped panel onto a Basic Black panel and then onto the Cajun Craze card base.

Lastly, I added a couple of Pebble Enamel Shapes, Brushed Metallic Dots, and adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
