Cluck a Note

Here is a masculine card for any occasion - just change the sentiment to suit your needs. This one was made to say hello. Any thoughts?

Stamps:
   Home to Roost

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 5-1/4 x 4
   Night of Navy 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Galvanized Metallic 1 x 4

Ink:
   Blushing Bride
   Night of Navy

Technique:
   Dry Embossing
   Clear Block Stamping

Accessories:
   Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
   Clear Block
   Water Spritzer
   Adhesive

I added Night of Navy and Blushing Bride ink to my clear block using my small ink spots. I spritzed it with my water spritzer and then stamped. Notice that I left just a bit of the Very Vanilla showing on the top of the panel.

Next, I made a pencil mark on my card measuring one inch from the bottom. This way, I could gauge what the metallic strip would cover up.

I then stamped the rooster on my card.

Then, I stamped the grassy plant life stamp four times at different heights on the bottom. I was focused on where the tops of this stamp were landing.

Lastly, I embossed my metallic strip and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I then adhered this panel onto the Night of Navy panel and then onto the card base.
