Feathered Thanks

This feather image is beautiful. Here I have just stamped it using one color. I am thinking of coloring the stamp with markers and giving it a bit more color variation. I may have to google some pictures of feathers. Are feathers multicolored?

Stamps:
   Tasteful Touches
   Perfect Punches

Paper:
   Cherry Cobbler A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Scraps
Flowers for Every Season DSP 1-1/2 x 5

Ink:
   Soft Sea Foam
   Just Jade
   Cherry Cobbler

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Scallop Oval Punch
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

I needed a thank you card, so I chose a stamp that would fit nicely as a focal image.

I also decided to use a thank you stamp that had not been used in quite a while.

I stamped and punched out my sentiment using Cherry Cobbler and a scalloped oval punch. I attached it using dimensionals.

I then stamped the feather on the bottom half of the card. First, I stamped a feather on the left side, then one on the right side, and lastly, I added one in the middle.

I added a few rhinestones to finish the card.

  1. Yes some feathers are multi colors. Great colors you used on this card. They work well together.
