Praying Rose

I like the bold colors for this sympathy card. Using watercolors gives you the option to subdue the color if you wish. You can add more water and dilute the color, or leave it full strength with little water. I always keep a paper towel handy just in case I begin to go overboard.

Stamps:
   Rose Wonder

Paper:
   Melon Mambo A-2
   Basic Black 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 (2)
   Brights DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Watercolor 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Melon Mambo
   Old Olive
   Daffodil Delight
   Jet Black StazOn

Technique:
   Watercolor
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Rose Garden Thinlits Dies
   Aqua Painters
   Fine Tip Glue Pen
   Adhesive

It is best to use a Stamparatus, MISTI, or Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp your sentiment. This way you can stamp several times and get a better impression than I did.

I also die cut the black outline of the rose and leaves and placed it over the image.
