Delight in Life

Is it time to scratch that artistic itch? Do you yearn for the abstract? Do you want to focus on the sentiment? Here is a hot glue embossing technique that can be used for any occasion while satisfying your artistic needs.

Stamps:
   Delight in Life

Paper:
   Only Orange A-2
   Watercolor 5 x 3-3/4
   Whisper White Scrap

Ink:
   Only Orange
   Elegant Eggplant
   Watermelon Wonder
   Bermuda Bay
   Garden Green
   Almost Amethyst
   Archival Basic Black

Technique:
   Hot Glue Embossing
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Decorative Label Punch
   Basic Black Embossing Powder
   Sponge
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive
   Hot Glue Gun

I applied black embossing powder to the glue while it was still warm. I added heat with my heat tool to make sure it would stick. I repeated this again until I was satisfied with it.

You can find a tutorial for this technique HERE.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. I hope you try your hand at this technique and have some fun. Let me know what you think.

  1. I looked at this card and said, "ooh, edgy". But in a good way. It's one of those cards where the recipient looks at it with more interest. I love to make cards that make people want to touch it. I'll send you a link when I post this one that my hubby looked at for longer than the usually polite look followed by, "These are nice hun."
Sorry. I made that about me. I love the look and will take a look at the tutorial. Stay safe. Stay Home. To stay healthy.
