Sparkly Leftovers

Make your own background using strips of leftover designer series paper. Embellish it with leftover Paper Pumpkin bits. I do hate to throw out leftovers, especially if they are still good! I did cut them all down to be the same size. What do you think? Are you going to give it a try?

I had another sparkly flower left over. So, here is another card:

Sparkly Leftovers Too

I like the purple flower more than the lime green. Which one do you prefer?

So, my first thought was to use up some of my leftover pieces of DSP. Since it is double-sided, I just flipped the pieces over. So, I had the same color repeated, but a different pattern. I adhered them all to the Whisper White panel. This was then adhered to the card base.

Then I decided to try to use up some of my leftover Paper Pumpkin pieces. I have always sorted all of the leftovers by category. So, I went to my embellishment box and found these sparkly flowers. The leaf stickers were from the same kit, so they matched really well. I adhered the flowers with glue dots.

Next, I went through the tags box and found this oval tag. I stamped a sentiment on it and attached it with dimensionals.

Lastly, I hit the sequins box and pulled a few to add to the card.

Get creative and use up those leftover scraps of things.

  1. Awe my favorite kind of cards, scrappy left over cards! I love making them as we all have a huge pile of left over papers. Great way to use some fantastic DPs on cards.
