Chicken Crossing

Sometimes, you have to use the stamps you have and create the rest that you imagine in your head. I drew in the road and wrote the sentiment inside a word bubble to finish this card. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Hey, Chick

Paper:
   Hello Honey A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Scrap

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Soft Sky
   Hello Honey

Blends/Blendabilities
   Smoky Slate

Copics:
   Various (Oranges & Yellows)

Technique:
   Sponging
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Word Bubbles Framelits Dies
   Sponges
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I took a Basic White panel and sponged it with Soft Sky ink. You can also use a Blending Brush.

I then stamped the chick on the left side of the card.

Next, I drew in the road and colored it with a Smoky Slate Marker (Blend).

I then stamped the chick on the right side of the road.

Next, I colored both chicks using Copic markers and blendabilities.

I then wrote my sentiment, die cut it, and sponged the edges. I attached it, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
