Tree Line

A fall tree line at sunset is perfect for a masculine card. The sentiment can be changed to whatever you need. Of course, "You are wonderful" can be left on the front, and you can add your other sentiment on the inside: Happy Birthday, Happy Father's Day, Congratulations, etc..

The tree line is from the Winter Woods stamp set. The ground cover is from the Waterfront stamp set. The sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Any of these can be switched for a stamp you have in your inventory.

First, I sponged my sky with Tangerine Tango and a hint of Blackberry Bliss.

I then stamped the ground using Soft Suede.

I inked up the tree line with Archival Basic Black and stamped in the center of my panel.

I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut around it. It is attached using dimensionals.

The Blackberry Bliss strip is crimped and then trimmed down to measure 4 inches in width. I purposely cut it a bit bigger because it shrinks a tad when you crimp it.

Once I trimmed it down, I wrapped Jute twine around it twice and made a small knot. This is why the sentiment is attached with dimensionals. It helps to hide the knot underneath it. This piece is adhered with the strong fast fuse adhesive. 

The large 5-1/4 x 4 Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.

Vintage Frame

If you like the vintage look and feel to a card then the Woven Heirlooms stamp set and coordinating die cuts plus the embossing folders are a must have. I used the stamp set and oval frame for the following card.

First, I die cut the oval frame from a Woven Threads DSP panel.

I then flipped the oval frame over and embossed it. 

I adhered the panel and the oval frame to the Seaside Spray card base.

I stamped the sentiment using Rococo Rose and added Pearls beneath it.

Of course, I kept the oval cut-out so that I can use it on a future project.

The L Words

The three L words are: Live, Laugh, and Love! These words need no explanation. They are positive thoughts to express to anyone for any occasion. The inside is blank so you can turn it toward any occasion you want.

Of course the common practice is to ink your stamp with one color (black) and then stamp on your cardstock. You then color in your image. Well, this is not the case here.

I colored the stamp using my markers:

   Live Well - Bermuda Bay

   Laugh Hard - Mossy Meadow

   Love Big - Calypso Coral

   Outline and dotted lines - Basic Black

Then I breathed on the stamp to moisten the ink, and then stamped on my cardstock.

I then die cut it using my Deco Labels Collection.

Next, I sponged it with Crushed Curry.

I added a couple of sequins and adhered it with dimensionals.

The card is easy to assemble, and I applied washi tape to cover the seam of the two DSP pieces.

Although, most of these items are discontinued, the layout is great to use with current products. Plus, I want to point out that SU stamps, inks, and accessories last, and last, and last...

Out on a Limb Again

This card requires no stamping, die cutting, or embossing. All I needed to do was to creatively mesh all of these elements together. I think all of these items work well together. What do you think?

I classified this as a Clean And Simple card to make because all you are doing is gluing the pieces together to make this card. 

The Shimmery Very Vanilla panel is from the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut DSP pack. There are several panels ready to use on a card. 

The three groups of cherry blossoms are left over from the May, 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I love that there are always a few extras left for you to continue to create. Not to mention the ink spot and adhesives.

Ideally, I would color the flowers in this bouquet with the same colors as the DSP in the background. Unfortunately, I do not currently own those inks, so I did the best I could. Fortunately, all of Stampin' Up! products coordinate well together. Don't you agree?

All of the layers are adhered with my favorite adhesive. The sentiment is attached with dimensionals. 

The second panel of Whisper White is for the inside of the card.

Friends for Shore

Do you have a friend that is always there for you no matter the circumstance? Here is a special card for that very special friend.

Technique:

   2-Step Stamping

First, I sponged the top half of my Whisper White panel with Daffodil Delight.

Then, I added some mountains or sand dunes using Tip Top Taupe. If your ink pad is very juicy, you might want to stamp off first and then stamp your card. I played with mine on a scratch paper first. The dune closest to the shore is the darkest, the others are stamped without re-inking.

I added the beach using the same method as the dunes. 

The water was applied using Marina Mist. I did the same thing as the dunes. If you stamp several times without re-inking your stamp, you will get a variance in the color. 

For the large conch, I used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. This is a 2-step stamp. So, the filler is Wisteria Wonder and the accent is in Elegant Eggplant. I fussy cut a large conch and attached it with dimensionals.

The small shells are stamped with Baked Brown Sugar and Crumb Cake.

The sentiment is stamped with Elegant Eggplant.

Once, I adhered the panel to the card base, I randomly added the tiny pearls.

The other Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.

Dashing Deer

You can never have too many Christmas cards. I like to make them throughout the year. This way, I am able to send a unique card to each one on my list. This one takes less than 10 minutes to make. I hope you like it.

   Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies

   Washi Label Punch

   Sponge

   Dimensionals

   Adhesive

First, I stamped the deer using Tip Top Taupe ink and cardstock. 

I then die cut these two using the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies.

Then I stamped the small deer using Lost Lagoon on the designer series paper. 

I stamped the sentiment using Lost Lagoon onto a scrap of Whisper White. I punched it out with the Washi Label punch, and sponged it with Soft Sky.

Now, that I have all the pieces, I glued the designer series panel onto the Soft Sky card base.

Then I added the deer and the sentiment using dimensionals.

Only One

Each card you make is a one-of-a-kind. Even if you use the same materials, each one will be unique. Don't misunderstand. The cards can look very much alike, but there will still be subtle differences. These subtleties are what makes it so very special and unique.

Technique:

   Crimper

First, I stamped the Melon Mambo flower in the middle of the Whisper White panel.

Then I added the sentiment with Wisteria Wonder.

Next, I randomly added the other flowers using Basic Gray. 

I then ran the panel through my crimper, vertically. This does shrink the panel a tiny bit. So, I trimmed the other edges to balance it out.

Lastly, I adhered the panel to the card base. The other Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.
