Hoppy Frog

Here is a great layout to use up some of those designer series paper (DSP) scraps. Basically, you can choose any shape you like and arrange the pieces behind your focal point. I chose a 1-1/4" square for mine.

Stamps:
   Very Punny

Paper:
   Garden Green A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), 1/4" Sq.
Motley Monsters DSP 1-1/4" Sq. (8), 1-3/8" Sq.

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Markers:
   Basic Black
   Garden Green
   Daffodil Delight

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive

My DSP is double sided so I can easily flip it over and the colors will blend and work together.

When you make your own cards, there is nothing set in stone. Your focal point and sentiment can easily be changed to meet your present need. I made this one for a challenge that asked us to use a pun on our cards. Thus, "Hoppy for you!" was born.

Thank you so much for stopping by here and taking a peek. Let me know if you have any questions or need any SU supplies.

HAPPY STAMPING!

  1. Love how you showcased your Hoppy Frog. Great way to use scraps. I am challenging myself to use scraps, stash and all those die cut items laying around!

  2. Good for you, Sharon. It is great to use up all of those bits laying around our desk or stashed away in containers. It does justify our continued spending on all of the new products. Still, the more I create, the more I have to send, share, and sell. All of my favorite S words. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I so appreciate it.

  4. Thank you Lisa for your kind words. I do like to make things quick and easy and love to see the "bottom of the barrel" empty.:)
